Faye Gunter

Associate Attorney

Faye Schofield Gunter is a native of the small town, Highland Home, Alabama. She graduated law school at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2012. After becoming a licensed attorney, Faye returned to Highland Home, Alabama, where she practiced as a solo attorney, handling everything from criminal defense to divorce to Social Security and VA Disability. After several years, Faye realized that she enjoyed her Social Security and VA disability cases more than other areas of the law, and she decided to focus on those areas.

After passing the Florida Bar, Faye and her husband, a criminal defense attorney himself (Bill Gunter), moved to Panama City and began specializing in Social Security Disability and Veterans' Disability claims. Faye serves disabled clients in both south-central Alabama and the state of Florida. Unlike most disability attorneys, Faye also specializes in Federal appeals of Social Security disability cases.
